Addiction & Mental Health Services – Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington
AMHS-KFLA is a non-profit organization that delivers community-based mental health, addiction and housing services to more than 7,000 individuals in the City of Kingston and the counties of Frontenac and Lennox and Addington.
Focusing on a client-centred model of care, AMHS KFLA’s 200+, highly skilled staff act with an emphasis on psychosocial rehabilitation and harm reduction.
Kingston Community Health Centres (KCHC)/Street Health
Kingston Community Health Centres (KCHC) is one of 83 community health centres in Ontario.
Community Health Centres (CHCs) are not-for-profit community governed organizations with a primary focus on improving the health and well-being of populations who have traditionally faced barriers accessing health services, including:
- those living on low income
- new immigrants
- those with complex mental health issues
- individuals who do not have health insurance
KCHC works to improve health and wellbeing, recognizing the broad and complex context surrounding each individual, including family, friends, community, and the richness of social, cultural, and spiritual connections.
Trellis HIV & Community Care
Trellis HIV & Community Care (Formerly HARS) provides comprehensive services including education, prevention, and support for people living with, at risk of, or affected by HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted bloodborne infections (STBBIs), in addition to advocating for broader social change to reduce stigma and discrimination.

Providence Care is Southeastern Ontario’s leading provider of specialized care in aging, mental health and rehabilitation.
Providence Care consists of Providence Care Hospital, Providence Transitional Care Centre, Providence Manor long-term care home, Hospice Kingston, and more than 22 community based mental health and support services across the region.
Home Base Housing
Home Base Housing develops affordable, supportive and transitional housing, emergency shelters and support services to meet the needs of youth, adults, and families at risk of homelessness in the Kingston area.
