September 20, 2024 – Kingston, ON The Integrated Care Hub (ICH) is a group of integrated partners (AMHS-KFLA, Trellis HIV & Community Care, KCHC and Home Base Housing), who work together to provide low-barrier services to address the needs of individuals who access care, many of whom are unhoused and have substance and/or mental health concerns.
The ICH is focused on planning to reopen to better serve our clients and community. We are working closely with our partners at the City of Kingston, including the Kingston Police, to facilitate this process
To help us make this as swift and supportive an experience for all those involved, we are asking our community to:
- Respect and support all workers engaged in the process, this includes our staff and staff of the City of Kingston and Kingston Police. While this is a difficult and emotional undertaking, we are all are working to provide as much support as possible to everyone involved. Any disruptions to this process, including hostility or threats toward anyone by anyone will delay our reopening and reduce access to essential health care services.
- Understand that ICH, not the City, has chosen to close the hub until we are able to reopen with secure access to care and services in clean, functional facilities. Our priority is working on the reopening plan, and we are grateful to the City for maintaining the fencing around the ICH and Kingston Police for their support while we complete this work.
- Support members of the community who are currently displaced. Anyone in need of support can contact AMHS-KFLA crisis lines can be reached 24 hours a day at:

We thank everyone in advance for your cooperation and support during this challenging transition and look forward to being able to reopen the Integrated Care Hub as soon as possible.
